MCO (Miscellaneous Charge Order)

MCOs are negotiable airline documents that can be used to pay for travel-related services. MCOs are used only for ARC ticket settlements by agencies in the United States, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and American Samoa.

MCOs are typically used to process transactions that are not included directly in the airfare, such excess baggage fees, insurance, and residual values or refunds from ticket exchanges.

Creating MCOs

In Smartpoint Desktop, MCOs must be manually created using terminal formats.
